HISTORY
In 1989 Auction City opened its doors to the general public and conducted a weekly live auction every Saturday morning. We not only helped place Bay Area residents into vehicles but we were also helping local charities, government agencies and financial institutions liquidate their vehicles. Tens of thousands of vehicles have been auctioned to new buyers since we began.
In July of 2020 Auction City transitioned into a members only dealer auction with the primary focus of assisting local Bay Area charities to raise funds through vehicle donations.
Covid 19 restrictions and limitations on gatherings plus a need to help local charities brought about this change in our business model.
We look forward to many more years of auctions and serving the needs of local vehicles dealers and wholesalers.
